Stigma: Receiving Care as a Person of Color

This two part event will include a facilitated conversation and a guided self-empowerment exercise. The discussion will center around the stigma of receiving healthcare as a person of color. Stay for a guided meditation workshop around resilience and acknowledging one’s personal strength in the face of systematic oppression.

MARGINALIZED BODIES: LGBTQ+ Student Access to Healthcare is a series of events organized in collaboration between The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach and The Office of Multicultural Affairs, CSULB.
