Lost But Chosen, a Tribute to Malditas by Jose Cordon

Lost But Chosen (LBC) is a solo photography show featuring new works from Jose Cordon, paying tribute to the Malditas.

Maldita translates to “the damned” in English, but is very often used in Spanish slang for bad ass women. This portait series showcases women of all races who embrace and embody the word. In this show, Cordon (@deadendbrigade) will combine his experience of feminism/chicanas, his love for Long Beach and urban landscapes.

Come out for an intimate night of Hip Hop, Beats and Rhymes by “East23rd” and a photographic journey into the life of those who call the LBC their home, the people we call, The Lost But Chosen…
